The European Master in Food Studies programme is managed by a Board of Governors, communicating with our university and company partners and ensuring that the training meets our established goals while continuously improving. The Board awards its certificate in addition to the MSc degree to successful graduates, on behalf of all the academic and company partners of the programme.
Remembering Jim Leslie’s Contributions
At the beginning of 2014 we were told the very sad news of Jim Leslie’s death on the evening of New Year’s Day. Jim was one of the founding fathers of the European Master in Food Studies and played a key role in the European Master programme as a Chairman of the Board for so many years. We admired him for his clarity in purpose, his enthusiasm for the programme and his leadership abilities. His diligent attention to the development and improvement of the European Masters in Food Studies was very much appreciated and the legacy of this work will be felt for many years to come.
